100 Black Men of America, Inc. is the nation’s top mentoring platform for African-American youth that delivers education and empowerment through programmatic initiatives. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of all African-Americans by providing them with the tools for self-sufficiency, cultivated civic and business leadership.
The 33rd annual conference was held in Las Vegas and brought together more than 1,200 attendees, over 20 global partners & sponsors and influential names in the African American communities including Common, a grammy award winning artist author, actor and activist and (then-presidential hopeful senator) Kamala Harris, over four days full of workshops, forums, scholarship competitions, plenary breakfast and luncheon sessions.

The event’s objective was to learn and collaborate on the latest trends, findings, research, and innovations in leadership, mentoring, education, health, and economic empowerment.

PCG was tasked to develop an integrated, 360 degree, a start-to-finish strategy that would fit in with the organization’s model and vision in order to bring to life this high-exposure event of the year.

PCG started off with mapping out event speakers, entertainment, influencers, programs and workshops to build a holistic strategy that utilizes the social networks of 100 BMOA and its partners.

PCG identified relevant social media channels, leveraged content creators and established a series of guidelines to collect & curate materials, including live interviews and various ways to capture attention on the day of the event.

The PCG team established branded elements, social media graphics, developed style kits and marketing guides to create an interactive & immersive event universe, both online and offline.

PCG amplified the use of fashion as an extension of the event identity and brand presence to ensure visual cohesiveness and consistency among PCG’s talents.

PCG assigned event promoters and social reporters using PCG’s innovative platform Socialyze, to ensure full-service coverage of the event on both social media and on-site. This includes videography, photography, content developments and team execution.
